Kent State University hosted its annual Aeronautics and Engineering Expo on Sept. 6 at Kent State University Airport, drawing families for a day of aviation excitement and STEM education.The event featured the iconic Goodyear Blimp, piloted by Kent State alumni. The airship returned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first blimp's christening, which took place on what is now the Kent State airfield. The RecWell Alumni Mentorship Program connects current Kent State Recreation and Wellness Services student employees with former RecWell alumni to support career development and professional growth. Through one-on-one*, virtual mentoring via Microsoft Teams, students are paired with alumni based on academic majors and career interests, creating meaningful connections that extend beyond the classroom and workplace. *(or two-on-one, depending upon how many mentors that we have)
