Gregory King, School of Theatre and Dance, led a masterclass at Onyx Production, a dance and theatre company in Columbus, Ohio, on May 13, 2017. King’s high-energy class fused some of the main principles of Horton, ballet and other contemporary forms. Dancers were introduced to phrase works that challenged them, asking them to investigate their sense of physicality, specificity and complexity through constant movement manipulation. Kent State University will soon begin using a new standardized calendaring system with an improved look and enhanced functionality. The new university-wide Events Calendar will allow students, faculty and staff to stay up-to-date on events and activities, by placing all of their events, globally, in one place. Use your blinds – tilt, twist or turn – to regulate temperature. If you do not have blinds, adjusting shades works, too!  Actions You Can Take On hot days, tilt the blinds upward toward the ceiling to block heat from the sun – this simple action can reduce heat gain by up to 45 percent.
