Bartz, President and CEO of State and Federal Communications, has provided a $30,000 endowment to Kent State University at Trumbull, in Warren, Ohio, to provide scholarships for graduating seniors from Howland High School. Filmmaker Richard Myers (emeritus professor) and Devo co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh (School of Art alumnus) will be subjects of retrospectives at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Cleveland and Akron Art Museum. "Richard Myers: Aberrations" and "Mark Mothersbaugh: Myopia" will run at MOCA Cleveland May 27 - August 28, while "Myopia" also spans a second, complementary exhibition at Akron Art Museum, open May 28 - August 28.
