Following a national search, Kent State University has selected Shay Davis Little, Ph.D., to serve as vice president for student affairs. Little has served as interim vice president for student affairs since Aug. 1, 2015. She will begin serving as the permanent vice president for student affairs on May 14. Despite the fact that the building has been open to students since January, Palazzo Vettori was given its official inauguration on a sunny Sunday afternoon, April 17, before a small gathering of local Italian dignitaries and numerous Kent State representatives, including Florence students and faculty, executive staff members, trustees and several key donors.
