As the Fall 2015 semester comes to a close, we have to give the warmest of thanks to our incredible student interns, workers, and graduate fellow. This year was extra special, as we were able to start the semester with two days in Millersburg, Ohio at the Young's Artist Residency. Studying for final exams wasn’t the only thing keeping nursing students busy on the East Liverpool Campus in recent weeks. The students also took time from their studies to help others from the community enjoy the holidays. The Student Nurses Association at Kent State University East Liverpool spearheaded a project to help provide gifts for 105 local children through the Salvation Army. Kent State University’s College of Podiatric Medicine will celebrate its centennial anniversary in 2016. Located in Independence, Ohio, it is one of nine accredited podiatry colleges in the United States and is a four-year, graduate-level medical college, granting the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
