The university held its Spring Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on May 8 and May 9 at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). Several students from the Rural Scholars program recently experienced nursing boot camp on the Kent State East Liverpool Campus, getting an up-close look at the basic training needed to be a nurse. The students were “recruited” for the boot camp based on their expressed interest in healthcare fields.
