University Health Services is excited to announce the opening of the new Flash Clinic, a walk-in treatment facility on the lower level of the DeWeese Health Center that shares space with the Women’s Clinic.
Available to Kent State University faculty, staff and students, the Flash Clinic is now open for walk-ins on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Nurse Practitioners in the Flash Clinic treat cold and flu symptoms, coughs, congestion, sore throat, earaches, pink eye, bug bites and stings, and minor burns and cuts. They also provide flu shots and other vaccines. Most insurance plans are accepted; primary care copays apply.
