Collective Bargaining
Kent State University has collective bargaining agreements with the Kent State Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP-KSU) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Telecommuting
The university has developed and finalized a telecommuting policy for employees, Kent State’s administrative policy on telecommuting. This policy applies to eligible full-time unclassified employees and full-time, non-represented classified employees on all Kent State campuses.
Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities operated by recipients of federal financial assistance (such as Kent State).
Tuition Waiver
Full-time employees and part-time hourly or unclassified administrative staff who have completed the waiting period from their date of hire may apply for the tuition waiver benefit.
