Paying For Classes
How much is tuition?
The cost of the program is dependent on a variety of factors including Ohio residency, full-time or part-time enrollment, campus enrolled and courses taken. Non-Ohio residents taking ALL online classes are assessed the in-state tuition charge and an additional $10.00 per credit hour non-resident surcharge. All online courses have a $12.00 per credit hour distance learning course fee. For a full list of tuition and fees along with payment deadlines please visit the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center (FBE Center).
Does KSU offer financial aid?
Financial aid is available for qualified students. Please contact the FBE Center at 330-672-6000 or via e-mail at fbecenter@kent.edu, if you have questions regarding financial aid. You can also access helpful financial aid information by visiting the Student Financial Aid webpage.
Answers to many questions can be found by reading the Student Financial Aid FAQs. Students can view their Bursar balance through FlashLine.
What if I schedule classes and don't attend?
**BE ADVISED: Online students have the same add/drop and payment obligations as do in-class students therefore dropping classes once a semester starts can result in a Bursar balance. Please check withdrawal dates on the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center website or on Flashline>Student Tools>Print Student Schedule>(then click on each individual class "CRN").
Please read through the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center website to become familiar with deadlines and policies.
