Kent State University student group Women in Aviation served as hosts for Girls in Aviation Day at the Kent State Airport. The young participants had the chance to fly drones, try out a flight simulator and do a pre-flight check inside a real plane.

More than 250 leaders from Kent State University and the city of Kent came together Tuesday for the 60th annual Bowman Breakfast, an event aimed at celebrating the strong relationship between the city and the university.
