The mission of Kent State University's College of Public Health is to develop public health leaders and promote sustainable public health innovations in collaboration with community partners in Northeast Ohio through teaching, research and service. 

Kent State University researchers travel to India to study the neuroscience behind the ancient practice of analytic mediation. They hope to apply the findings to students in the west.

Nikki, the Top Hawk Cessna aircraft, was recently revealed at the Kent State University Airport. The aircraft is named in celebration of the life of Nicole “Nikki” Kukwa, a Kent State aeronautics student who died after receiving a leukemia diagnosis during her junior year. 

The third annual Fashion/Tech Hackathon at Kent State University took place on Jan. 29. Students spent 36 hours building a project of their choice, such as an app or a garment, while getting support from mentors and sponsors.
