Nikki, the Top Hawk Cessna aircraft, was recently revealed at the Kent State University Airport. The aircraft is named in celebration of the life of Nicole “Nikki” Kukwa, a Kent State aeronautics student who died after receiving a leukemia diagnosis during her junior year.

The third annual Fashion/Tech Hackathon at Kent State University took place on Jan. 29. Students spent 36 hours building a project of their choice, such as an app or a garment, while getting support from mentors and sponsors.
