The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from the number one and number five causes of death in the United States: heart disease and stroke.
The Employee Wellness office is pleased to feature our Kent State University faculty for the fall employee wellness speaker series, “The Science of Healthy.”
Join us on Monday, Aug. 20, (rescheduled from Aug. 7) from noon to 1 p.m. when Beth Michel, recreation program officer with the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, will explain how to get the most out of your walk as we tour the Kent Campus.
As part of Kent State University's employee wellness program, all full-time, benefits-eligible employees may earn up to $300 annually in wellness dollars by simply participating in healthy lifestyle activities.
Bring your bike from home or check out a bike through the Flashfleet bike-sharing program at one of eight locations around the Kent Campus. The lunchtime ride will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 8, from noon-1 p.m.
