Kent State University’s Center for Applied Conflict Management is transforming into a new School of Peace and Conflict Studies this month.

School administrators from Shaker Heights, Painesville, Akron and Westlake participated in the Creating Global Mindedness Leadership Institute sponsored by Kent State University’s College of Education, Health and Human Services.

A delegation of faculty members from Kent State University - accompanied by several staff members of the Kent State China Center - will be touring China to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, while also promoting Kent State as a preferred academic destination for Chinese students.
