On Feb. 7, 2026, Kent State University’s chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD)—The Honors Society for First-year Academic Success—welcomed 231 exceptional students at Cartwright Hall’s auditorium, where its annual induction and awards ceremony took place. Kent State’s chapter was originally founded in 1960 and currently includes more than 1,100 members as one of the most prominent chapters among the other 280 chapters across the globe.
