Kent State University Airport
Congratulations are in order for the Kent State University Precision Flight Team for another successful appearance at the National Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON), hosted by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA). The team competed from May 8th through May 13th in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The Kent State University Board of Trustees approved a project with an estimated cost of $5 million to be funded from federal, state and university sources to address deferred maintenance at the Kent State University Airport hangar.
The Kent State University Airport is honored for its environmentally-friendly master plan.
