Theodore Albrecht, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Music in Kent State University’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, was quoted by The New York Times in a story about new findings concerning Ludwig van Beethoven’s health and genealogy. 

A trailblazer for LGBTQ+ rights, the late Dolores Noll, Ph.D., was one of Kent State University’s first openly gay professors when she came out in 1971.

Omar Salam, founder and creative director of the global fashion house SUKEINA, will be making a special trip from the runway to Kent State University’s Rockwell Hall as Salam has been named the 2023 inductee of the university’s School of Fashion Hall of Fame.

Kent State is getting a lot of love these days! Leading up to its first-round game in the NCAA Men’s Division I Tournament, the men’s basketball team has received major shoutouts on social media.
