The Kent State University community gathered Wednesday at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center to send off the Golden Flashes to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament. Go Flashes!

Looking for information about Kent State University’s men’s basketball team and the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament? The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has launched a 2023 NCAA Basketball Tournament page to assist Golden Flashes fans.

Kent State (28-6) will play Indiana on Friday, March 17, in the first round of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in Albany, New York. Tickets will be available here starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Women's basketball team

The Kent State women's basketball team will travel to Syracuse for a 2023 Postseason WNIT first round contest on Wednesday, March 15. Tip inside the JMA Wireless Dome is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Men's Basketball MAC championship

Kent State (28-6) will play Indiana on Friday, March 17, in the first round of the NCAA Division 1 Basketball Tournament in Albany, New York. While 13 is typically an "unlucky" number, the Golden Flashes hope it brings them a victory. 

Men's Basketball MAC championship

Kent State men's basketball team is taking home the MAC Championship trophy, earning them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The second seed Golden Flashes beat the first seed University of Toledo Rockets 93-78.
