The annual poster sale this week gave students opportunities to add new art to their living spaces. 

This week began the annual photo shoot for the Flashes of Pride Poster, which features the faces, names, sexual identity and majors of some of Kent State’s LGBTQ+ community and allies.  

Have you ever imagined that donating your blood could not only help the people who need it, but also help a Kent State student receive a scholarship? 

Music, a cheering crowd and students shouting “bingo!” could be heard across the Kent Student Center on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Flash Activity Board (FAB) grocery bingo night created for fun and a good cause. 

The MPower Summit on Oct. 14 is designed to bring students, faculty, and staff together from college, high school, and community organizations to support the mission of men of color initiatives. All people are welcome to attend the summit, which will be held at the Kent State Student Center. 

The colorful landscaping on the Kent Campus attracts visitors of all kinds - and species. 

Recent data from the Ohio Department of Health shows Ohio averaged over 1,700 suicide deaths between 2016-2021, with those numbers expected to increase over the next reporting period. However, few educational opportunities exist for mental health practitioners prior to being in the field. That’s why Kent State University and the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF) are working to change that through a new evidence-based suicide prevention class offering.

Kailee Shaw, '24, will likely never forget her recent experience as part of a small group from Kent State who immersed themselves in a region of the United States some 1,500 miles from Kent.

Crews are working diligently around the Kent Campus to clean up debris left by a severe thunderstorm that hit Kent State last night.

The University Library held a "Late Night at the Libary" event to welcome students and introduce new students to library resources.
