Welcome to the Cleanroom Research and Prototyping Facility (CRPF)

The Advance Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University is a facility with filtered, vertical laminar flow air, equipped with research tools assembled for the purpose of prototyping liquid crystal displays and supporting university research in the fields of liquid crystals, bio-materials, electronic materials, nanotechnology, nanolithography, depositions, and other areas requiring a particle-free environment.
