AMLCI is proud to announce the recipients of the 2021 AMLCI Fellowship Scholarship Awards. Awardees were selected based on the criteria set forth by our donors. Our winners gave a TED Talk at the Materials Day 2021 on Friday, April 9, 2021, which were based on their research and what impact it has.
Glenn H. Brow Fellowship – Runa Koizumi
For outstanding graduate students who are engaged in research on biological or biology related topics of liquid crystals.
Alfred Saupe Fellowship – Chenrun Feng
For outstanding graduate students working on physics or material sciences of liquid crystals.
James Fergason Fellowship -Hemantha Prageeth Rajapaksha
For outstanding graduate students working on applied research using liquid crystals.
