BHRI members are located at Kent State University as well as at Akron Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and Northeast Ohio Medical University.

The majority of Kent State faculty are housed in the College of Sciences and Humanities , working in a variety of disciplines including biological sciences, biomedical sciences, psychology, chemistry, sociology, English, philosophy, mathematics and computer science. Additional faculty work in the College of Nursing, the College of Public Health and Health Sciences, the College of Architecture and Built Environments, the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the College of the Arts, Design and Media.
