BHRI members are located at Kent State University as well as at Akron Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic and Northeast Ohio Medical University.

The majority of Kent State faculty are housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, working in a variety of disciplines including biological sciences, biomedical sciences, psychology, chemistry, sociology, English, philosophy, mathematics and computer science. Additional faculty work in the College of Nursing, the College of Education, Health and Human Services, the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, the College of Communication and Information, the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the College of the Arts.
