Continuing in CCP gives you the opportunity to keep building your Kent State academic record while making progress toward your high school and future college goals. Some CCP requirements must be completed each academic year, so start the continuation process early and check your Kent State email regularly for important information about your next steps.

Your continuation requirements depend on the type of school you attend. Choose the checklist that applies to you.
Public-School Student Checklist
Submit Your Letter of Intent
Let your school know that you plan to participate in College Credit Plus for the new academic year. Submit your Letter of Intent according to your school's instructions, typically through your school counselor.
Complete Your Kent State CCP Continuation Form
Complete the College Credit Plus Continuation Form to update your CCP enrollment for the upcoming academic year. Information about completing the form will be sent to your Kent State email, so continue checking it regularly.

Complete Your Annual CCP Requirements

Meet With Your Kent State Academic Advisor
Meet with your Kent State academic advisor before registering for your next courses. Your advisor can help you select courses based on your academic goals, prerequisites and placement, high school requirements and possible future majors or degrees.
Home-School & Nonpublic-School Student Checklist
Complete the State of Ohio Funding Process
Home-school and nonpublic-school students must complete the State of Ohio's CCP funding process for the new academic year. State funding requirements are separate from your Kent State continuation requirements, so be sure to complete both processes by the applicable deadlines.
