Kent State Mock Trial

The Kent State Mock Trial team allows students to learn about the jury court process, become more confident in their public speaking and legal writing skills, and travel to neighboring universities in an educational context. In the past, we have traveled to Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh, and Punxsutawney. We begin our practice season in early September. Our competition season begins in February and can last until March. We have two-hour practices in the evening twice per week. 

Kent State Mock Trial is a competitive, team-focused organization. We hope that each member of the team develops an appreciation and understanding of the legal process through their time on the team.
