KSU Flashathon
Kent State University’s Flashathon is a student-run philanthropy that fundraises year-round to raise money for Akron Children’s Hospital. Every year in March, we host our major fundraiser which is an 8-hour dance marathon benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to provide financial and emotional support to the kids battling illness. Each year, the students from the university, the kids from the hospital, their families, and residents of the Kent community unite for a day of dancing, games, and miracles. In our first ten years, we have managed to raise over $400,000 for the kids. This generation will continue to fight for the next. #KidsCantWait
