Student Recreation Council

 The Student Recreation Council serves to spread the message of wellness and recreation to not only our employees, but all Kent State Students as well. The mission of the Student Recreation Council is to uphold the principles of the Department of Recreational Services while acting as a liaison between student employees, administrators, and our community. The Council will utilize the knowledge and experience gained through participation to encourage engagement, increased cooperation, and open communication to promote an inclusive recreation environment The council also organizes department events such as Employee Appreciation, an annual Employee Banquet, and a variety of community service opportunities. 

The Student Recreation Council (SRC) serves as a liaison between the administrators and the student staff. We serve to spread the message of wellness and recreation to not only our employees, but all students at Kent State as well.
