Biography
In 2015, I received a Bachelors degree from the Human Development and Family Studies program at Kent State University. I am now enrolled in Kent State's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters Program.
As the IRC library graduate assistant, I am in charge of maintaining and developing the collection of books, movies, and other materials available for checkout. This includes researching and ordering of new curriculum materials as well as cataloging these items into our staff database. I also manage the fine and overdue records for all patrons, and create book displays for the IRC to highlight certain collections, such as the Common Core resources, or current events like Banned Books Week.
During the fall semester, I work as a co-chair to bring the Scholastic Book Fair to the IRC for one week, an event that is open to all members of the Kent State community and helps to raise funds for the IRC's collection.
