Tolliver was chosen as Kent State's representative after a rigorous selection process and is eligible to win $10,000 if her collection takes the top prize. Tolliver worked through the summer to create the SUPIMA cotton fabric-based collection that will premiere on the Fifth Avenue runway as part of New York Fashion Week. Tolliver's collection is focused on her design specialty of sustainable maximalism.

"The goal behind this collection is to tackle my self-doubt as a designer and my more maximal aesthetic," said Tolliver. "Through this collection, I want to prove to myself that I am a good designer and that being loud and eclectic is not inherently tacky. This collection continues with my exploration of the concept of sustainability and maximalism and how I as a designer can cater to a more maximal customer in a way that is considered sustainable."
