To welcome its new birthing manikin and the infant it delivers, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing department held a baby shower complete with games, snacks, gifts and decorations. The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition provides students with a broad general education and a strong foundation in nutrition, dietetics and the sciences, preparing students for careers as registered dietitians in medical and health care centers, public health agencies, industries, and universities. The Health Education and Promotion (HEDP) Program offers three undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Community Health Education, Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.) in School Health Education, and B.S.E in Health and Physical Education (a dual major with dual licensure).
The Exercise Science B.S. program focuses on the scientific study of human movement and exercise, preparing students for careers in fields such as sports performance, rehabilitation, fitness and health promotion.
