Prior to the start of Fall classes, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry hosts an orientation session for new majors called COSMIC (Careers, Opportunities, Scholarships for Majors, & Information for Chemists) Kickoff. While this event is tailored to incoming chemistry majors, it is open to all students, including current majors.
