Leading the initiative to support Flash’s Food Pantry on the Salem Campus

  When Flash’s Food Pantry opened a few months ago on the Salem Campus, support for the project was immediate. Individuals and groups from the campus and surrounding community found ways to contribute and help fill the shelves. Police cadets at Trumbull

Kent State University at Trumbull's Police Academy cadets focused on serving more than justice last Friday by delivering meals and distributing Easter baskets to local families through the Warren Family Mission.  Cadets from the current full-time day class donated more than $300 in gift cards to the Mission and, aside from 239 Easter meals they delivered to local families, they also volunteered at the Mission’s 25th Annual Easter Dinner by serving and clearing tables.
