Dr. Michael Strickland's group at Kent State University will participate in a new Topical Theory Collaboration funded by DOE’s Office of Nuclear Physics to explore the behavior of heavy flavor particles. These particles are made of quarks of the “charm” and “bottom” varieties, which are heavier and rarer than the “up” and “down” quarks that make up the protons and neutrons of ordinary atomic nuclei. Student Dissertation II / Thesis II

Dissertation II and Thesis II student memberships are $35/semester.  Their department often covers the fee for the membership, but the student must have the form filled out by an authorized member in the department before we can process it.  The completed form can be turned into the Guest Service station the main Welcome Desk or emailed to Jim Kraus, Senior Assistant Director, Guest Services and Marketing at jkraus8@kent.edu
