The Arbor Day Foundation has awarded Kent State Tuscarawas recognition as a 2017 Tree Campus USA for its commitment to effective urban forest management. Kent State University at Ashtabula alumnae Maraget "Peggy" Blood recently was honored at the American Society of Artifical Organs (ASAIO) Conference in Washington, D.C., with the VAD Coordinator Leadership Award.
