Kent State University at East Liverpool officially opened the James & Margaret Locke Occupational Therapy Facility during a dedication ceremony on Sept. 25.  Located at 134 W. Fifth St., the house was the former residence of the late James and Margaret Locke, well-known and beloved community leaders who owned and operated James Locke Jewelers in East Liverpool for more than 45 years. Kent State University at Salem welcomed the James and Coralie Centofanti family, as well as community members, to campus to celebrate the completion of renovations to the health and sciences wing,  now known as Centofanti Hall. Kent State University’s College of Public Health was awarded a $357,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services through its Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to fund Project AWARE Kent, a three-year Mental Health First Aid program.
