The Kent State University College of Public Health has received accreditation from the Board of Councilors of the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The fiveyear span is the maximum term the college could have achieved as a first-time applicant. Kent State University at Stark will host the annual Turkey Trot, an Adult 5K and a Kids’ ¼ Mile Fun Run, on Saturday, Nov. 21. The events will be held on Kent State Stark’s beautiful, 200-acre campus, located at 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration takes place on the day of the event, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The fee is $5 per person and may be paid on the day of the event. Kent State University football player Jordan Italiano, a senior safety from Canfield, Ohio, has been selected as a 2015 National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Fidelity Investments. Italiano is the first Kent State player to earn the honor. From replacing windows and roofs, to restoring stone facades, Kent State University gave College Planning & Management magazine a tour of campus and all of its new construction and renovation projects.
