This year’s program, “Honoring All Who Serve,” will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza. Kent State University football player Jordan Italiano, a senior safety from Canfield, Ohio, has been selected by the National Football Foundation as a 2015 National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Fidelity Investments. Italiano is the first Kent State player to earn the honor. StoryCorps, the pioneering oral history project, has launched “The Great Thanksgiving Listen” – its most ambitious initiative to date. WKSU and Kent State University are promoting the project in hopes of encouraging high school and college students throughout Northeast Ohio to participate.
