The Stress Free Zone at Kent State's University Library invited students to take a short break from studying for finals to relax, recharge and ready themselves for their coming exams. This year's activities included making pinback buttons and a place within the Library's Student Multimedia Studio makerspace for May graduates to use the equipment there to decorate the top of their mortarboards. We are thrilled to announced that Dr. Mary Himmelstein, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, has been awarded a CAREER grant funded by the National Science Foundation. The 20-Year Club Service Award is an annual distinction established in 1966 to honor classified and unclassified staff employees who have dedicated 20 years of continuous service to Kent State University. Inductees have been determined on a fiscal year basis. Next year, it will change to a calendar year. Upon reaching their anniversary, inductees can select a chair or lamp to commemorate their years of service.
