Does KSUCPM Accept Transfer Students?

Students who have had successful attendance at another college of podiatric medicine and are in good academic and personal standing may apply to KSUCPM for transfer. Decisions regarding transfer admission status are at the discretion of the Dean and Enrollment Management Committee members.

Applicants for transfer admission must meet the criteria for initial application as outlined in the requirements section and follow the procedures outlined below. Submit a letter to the Office of Enrollment Management requesting transfer consideration.

Does KSUCPM Accept International Students?

International students attending an institution outside the Continental US are required to have their academic transcripts submitted and evaluated through World Education Services to meet base requirements. KSUCPM also requires International applicants to show proficiency in the English language. If English is not the applicant's primary language, and they have not attended an accredited US undergraduate institution, they are required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with acceptable scores.

Does KSUCPM have Partnerships with any Undergraduate Programs?

KSUCPM cooperates in articulation agreements with several national institutions.

This program permits qualified undergraduate students at participating institutions to enter KSUCPM after the completion of three years of college study. Entrance into the program is predicated on proven academic abilities including the completion of courses normally associated with a general pre-med curriculum, commitment to the profession and its advancement, and demonstrated moral and professional character.

How does KSUCPM award scholarships?

Each year KSUCPM awards approximately $950,000 to incoming and current students. Scholarships are awarded to incoming students based upon GPA, MCAT score, Interview, and recommendations from the Admissions Committee and/or faculty members. Scholarships for incoming students traditionally range from $2,500-$10,000. Continuing scholarships for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students are awarded based upon performance while enrolled in the program. Please visit the Financial Aid site for more information.
