When is KSUCPM’s application deadline?

KSUCPM participates in AACMPAS. The application service accepts applications beginning August through June 30. KSUCPM operates on a rolling admissions basis. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit their admission materials by March 1st of each year for the academic year to begin that same fall. Students may submit an application with pre-requisites in progress or planned. In addition, students may submit an application with a planned MCAT date.

How is my GPA calculated?

AACPMAS takes all your earned grades from any US college or university, and calculates one GPA from all courses taken. Courses repeated are also included in the GPA. There is a separate calculation for all biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and math courses taken to compile your science GPA.

Students entering in August 2019 as part of the Class of 2023 had an average overall GPA of 3.36, an average science GPA of 3.20, an average organic chemistry GPA of 2.90, and an average biology GPA of 3.23. The average MCAT score was a 494.

Admissions Processing Information

KSUCPM is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment, where students from various backgrounds feel welcomed and supported. Once the application becomes verified, KSUCPM will notify the candidate via email of the next steps of their candidacy.

Eligible candidates will be invited to interview in person or virtually. The candidate interview holds significant weight in the admission process, as it provides an opportunity for candidates to showcase their personal qualities, communication skills, and passion for podiatric medicine.
