Kent State University’s Division of Information Services, in collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs, has completely redesigned the appearance and functionality of FlashLine. The new FlashLine was launched on July 13.
Kent State University will be celebrating the 17th annual International Education Week from Nov. 14-18. In past years, the weeklong celebration has featured numerous internationally oriented events, including concerts, dance lessons, academic lectures, presentations and exhibitions hosted by student groups, academic departments and campus offices, as well as individual faculty members.
A new organization called Spectrum: Connecting Queer and Ally Faculty and Staff has been launched to provide support and a social community at Kent State University. Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, Kent State University created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
