Online final grading for summer 2018 Intersession (POT IS) began Thursday, June 7, via FlashFAST. Grading also is now available for any summer 2018 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, June 12. Any final grades for summer 2018 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. The summer 2018 courses will be available in the Workflow on Thursday, June 14.

Kent State University's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, Kent State University created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
