In collaboration with Kent State University’s School of Health Sciences, the Division of Human Resources will be offering a spring session of the Faculty/Staff Exercise Program.
This program will run 12 weeks, from Jan. 21 to April 10. The program will be located in the Gym Annex, off Midway Drive on the Kent Campus. Three time options are available for registration:
- Option 1 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 - 7 a.m.
- Option 2 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon - 1 p.m.
- Option 3 – Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
This is a supervised program specifically designed to assist current full- or part-time faculty and staff members who may benefit from a more structured and personal exercise program designed to assist members that may just be starting into an exercise program to those seeking a fun and challenging exercise opportunity. Exercise programs can be modified for individuals who may have some risk factors that require more supervision, such as hypertension, diabetes, family history, metabolic disease, etc.
Cost for the 12-week program is $100. Participants will have an opportunity to earn a $25 rebate reward if they attend and sign in for at least 75 percent of the regular program sessions.
