National Wear Red Day
Save the date: Feb. 6 is National Wear Red Day. Don't forget to wear red, and to submit your heart health spirit pictures to wellness@kent.edu to earn 10 Tier 2 points.
FREE Hands Only CPR Classes
The Wellness team is pleased to offer FREE hands only CPR classes. Available to faculty and staff, classes will be held at the Rec Center on Feb. 9 from 9-10 a.m. and Feb. 11 from 4-5 p.m.

2026 Wellness Rewards Reminders
Tier 1 Reminders
- Tier 1 ends April 30, so make sure to turn in your consent waiver to wellness@kent.edu and complete your Health Risk Assessment through the BeWell portal.
- Biometric screenings are scheduled twice a month through April at the Kent State Rec Center. Appointments can be made through the BeWell portal.
Tier 2 Updates
- The Tier 2 deadline has been extended through December 2026.
- NEW! If you miss a live webinar, webinars can be viewed on Canvas! Tier 2 points can be earned by taking a short quiz after you watch the recording.
- Make sure to review the Tier 2 activities tab under "View Rewards" to see how you can earn points. Want easy points? Track your exercise and healthy packed lunches, tell us how you promote wellness on campus, go to your yearly dentist/vision exams, and MUCH MORE!
Wellness Events Update
Please be reminded that Employee Wellness events are university-sanctioned events, which means you do not have to use lunch or leave time to participate. Be sure to consult with your supervisor to coordinate attendance. We believe in a healthy work-life balance, and wellness events are part of that. Please email wellness@kent.edu with any questions.
