Thirty one Kent State University employees were honored recently at the 20-year Club annual service awards program.
Kent State President Beverly Warren shared words of welcome to the 20-year Club inductees, their families, friends and coworkers.
Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., Kent State’s associate provost for academic affairs, acted as mistress of ceremonies, and WKSU personalities Vivian Goodman and Mark Pennell provided highlights and fond memories of Kent State for the 20 inductees in attendance. The service awards program honors classified and unclassified employees who have 20 years of continuous service at any Kent State campus. Inductees receive their choice of a commemorative Kent State chair, a tree planted on campus in their honor or a bench to be placed in a campus building of the honoree's choice.
