Lunch and Learn: Be Well Dispels the Myths – ALL CAMPUS ACCESS

When it comes to health news, it is sometimes hard to know what is best. Caffeine or no caffeine, carrots will help your vision, and the list goes on and on enough to make your head spin. Join us on Thursday, Oct. 26, at noon in Heer Hall or via livestream where our wellness partner Bill Frankel, principal and director of client services for Be Well Solutions, will help dispel health-related myths and answer questions such as:

  • Is sunshine really that bad?
  • Is dark chocolate really healthy?
  • Do I need to go organic?
  • Should I go gluten-free?
  • Butter or margarine?
  • Sugar or artificial sweetener?

This lunch and learn is open to all full- and part-time employees. For employees participating in the Wellness Your Way incentive program, this session is worth 10 Wellness Your Way points toward your 2017 Tier Two total.

If you have questions, you may contact the Employee Wellness Office at 330-672-0392 or wellness@kent.edu.
