There is much research about stress and what causes it. We also have volumes of information on how to manage or reduce it. So, why do we repeatedly experience such an increase in stress around the holidays?
It's probably true that everyone with “holiday stress” could give unique answers on why they are stressed during this time, particularly in the months of November and December.
On Tuesday, Oct. 30, from noon-1 p.m., presenter Terri O'Reilly, M. Ed., will address holiday stress and how to effectively manage it. This popular lunch-and-learn workshop will be delivered via livestream or in person at Heer Hall. Please only register for one format by selecting below:
- Register for livestream (access from any device with internet access).
- Register for in-person workshop at Heer Hall (space is limited).
Participants will be able to engage in group discussion about how to manage specific stress, like expectations, family members and traditions. Those streaming can generate comments/questions via wellness@kent.edu during the presentation.
This workshop is open to all full- and part-time employees. For more information, please contact Employee Wellness at 330-672-0392 or wellness@kent.edu.
