The Alumni Awards recognize Kent State’s brightest alumni and students who have made an incredible impact at the university, in their profession, and in their community. These awards are the university’s highest alumni honor, presented each year in six award categories:

- Professional Achievement Award
- Outstanding New Professional Award
- Golden Flash Award (students only)
