Akron Marathon Race Series Corporate Challenge

Kent State University is participating in the 2025 Akron Marathon Race Series Corporate Challenge! Whether you are an avid runner or just looking to volunteer at a race event, there is a place for you here. Together, let’s take a positive step forward in promoting health and wellness in our community. 

Don’t forget- volunteering for 2+ hours counts for Tier 2 Be Well points!

Event Dates

• National Interstate 8K & 1 Mile: June 27-28, 2025
• Goodyear Half Marathon & 10K: August 9, 2025
• FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon and Team Relay: September 27, 2025

Registration Instructions

1. Visit AkronMarathon.org/Register and click the event box for which you would like to register.
2. Each participant will need to either sign into their Race Roster account or create a Race Roster account. 
3. Complete the registration form.
4. Select "Yes" when asked if you are participating in the Corporate Challenge.
   1. Use the dropdown to select your company "Kent State University." 
5. Complete registration flow.
