As the 2024 total solar eclipse passes over Kent, Ohio, on Monday, April 8, Kent State University students, faculty and staff have the unique opportunity to witness an optical illusion known as the Purkinje effect.

Kent State University’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering recently hosted a career fair featuring 44 employers from fields ranging from aeronautics and aerospace to engineering, military and more.  Sponsored by the United States Air Force, the event aimed to connect students to alumni and top organizations within these sectors.

Kent State University Culinary Services is embracing gastronomic diversity with its annual Food Truck Series, stationed outside the library and student center at Risman Plaza. The community food trucks are available to students, staff, faculty and the Kent community visiting campus.
