The Kent State University alumni family will grow by more than 1,000 new graduates as the university holds its summer commencement ceremony on Aug. 10.

Kent State University recently concluded its most successful fundraising campaign in its 114-year history. The Forever Brighter campaign ended in June 2024, having raised more than $383.2 million total.

For Marcello Fantoni, Ph.D., Kent State University’s vice president for global education, Versailles is where he serves on the Scientific Committee of its Research Center, helping to shepherd art history research on a global scale.

School of Theatre and Dance alumna Jocelyn Darci Trimmer has made her debut on the pink carpet. The recent grad has landed a role in the “Mean Girls” national tour as an ensemble member and the Regina George understudy. However, her journey started much earlier.

Kent State University and Cleveland Clinic have announced a multiyear partnership in which Cleveland Clinic becomes the official healthcare provider for Kent State Athletics. Cleveland Clinic will serve as the medical services provider to support Kent State student-athlete health and wellness.
