For the third consecutive term, the National League for Nursing (NLN) has designated Kent State University’s College of Nursing as a Center of Excellence in the category of Advancing the Science of Nursing Education. This new cycle of designation will extend from 2022-2026.

Kent State University’s College of Nursing was recently awarded a three-year $225,000 grant from Peg’s Foundation, formerly the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, a private grant-making foundation that supports mental health programs in Northeast Ohio.

A tribute to both their ongoing scholarship and service to the College of Nursing, Loretta Aller, Ph.D., MSN, RN, CHSE, and Taryn Burhanna, MSN, APRN, NP-C, received competitive fellowship awards by the internationally recognized International Nursing Association for Clinical and Simulation Learning (INACSL) and the nationally recognized SOURCE Service-Learning Academy, respectively.
